The UPMC Horizon Foundation is proud to celebrate a $2,000 contribution made to the March of Dimes, raised by the efforts of UPMC Horizon’s Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum department. This gift will improve outcomes for countless pregnant women and newborns in our community. Department staff raised these funds through t-shirt and candy sales throughout the year, supported by the participation of hospital staff and local members of the community. The UPMC Horizon Foundation is grateful to everyone who made this contribution possible and for their commitment to infant and maternal care and wellness.
March of Dimes representative Ashley McAfee joined representatives from the LDRP department to accept the contribution and award the team with a plaque celebrating the gift. Smiling underneath their masks below are March of Dimes Representative Ashley McAfee, Lisa Lehett, Hayley Button, Megan Parker, Brenda Liszka, Haley Piontkowski, Amanda Wright, and LDRP Unit Director Jamie Kale.
Thank you on behalf of the UPMC Horizon Community Health Foundation and the March of Dimes to all who made this gift possible!
