Your Donation Provides Stethoscopes for 2nd Semester UPMC Jameson School of Nursing Students
A rite of passage for every nursing student is when they acquire their first stethoscope. Normally, students are required to obtain their own stethoscopes, but this year the UPMC Jameson Health Care Foundation wants to ask you to consider helping the next generation of nursing students by providing one! For every $50 you donate, you’ll make a stethoscope available for a student, and it will be provided to the student in your name. Want to make an even bigger impact? You can donate as many stethoscopes as you’d like – just choose how many times you’d like to give!
This fundraiser is accepting donations through November 30th in advance of the UPMC Jameson School of Nursing Stethoscope Ceremony, which will be held at the start of the students’ second semester in January.
Thanks to a very generous commitment made by Frank and Judy Mindicino, every stethoscope provided by the Foundation through the community’s generosity will be matched, dollar for dollar, by a gift to the Foundation’s School of Nursing Support Fund. By supporting this initiative, the impact of your gift will be doubled. We hope you’ll consider joining us as we support the next generation of local nursing students.
