The UPMC Horizon and Jameson Health Foundations are excited to bring Thelma’s Sports Nook’s food truck to the Horizon and Jameson Hospitals as a way to say “Thank You” to our hardworking staff. The food truck will be visiting the Shenango, Jameson and Greenville hospitals between December 20th and 22nd to provide meals exclusively to Horizon and Jameson staff members and volunteers, courtesy of the Foundations. The truck will be available for all three shifts at each hospital in order to provide a meal to as many staff as possible.
“The Foundation Boards saw this as an opportunity for us to thank our staff during the midst of a very busy holiday season at our hospitals,” says Adam Nowland, Director of the Foundations. “Providing a meal to a busy nurse, doctor or administrator is a small gesture, but it is a chance for us to show them that the Foundations and the community are thankful for their hard work and dedication to those they serve.”
