AEDs Support Community Health

May 19, 2025

The Foundations were pleased to be able to support two local volunteer fire departments through the donation of Automated External Defibrillators (commonly referred to as AEDs) for use on individuals experiencing cardiac distress. Both the Volant Volunteer Fire Company and the Neshannock Township Volunteer Fire Company received an AED to assist with the services they provide to their communities

AEDs are a potentially lifesaving tool and serve as an additional resource to community health and safety organizations. In addition to Lawrence County, the Foundations are proud to partner with the Buhl Regional Health Foundation and other organizations to provide AEDs throughout Mercer County.
