Longtime physician and well-known community icon, Tulio Estrada, M.D., has announced his retirement after more than 30 years living and working in Greenville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Estrada and his wife Clara, originally from Colombia, arrived in the United States with only two suitcases. After participating in exclusive training programs at Tulane University and UPMC, Dr. Estrada began his career at what is now UPMC Horizon – Greenville.
During a dinner in his honor at the Avalon at Buhl Country Club, Dr. Estrada told guests that the American dream remains alive and well. His commitment to Greenville, the surrounding region, and most importantly, the many patients that he has cared for is unquestioned. The Foundations congratulate Dr. Estrada on his retirement and thank him for his many years of service.
