Join us for the Grand Opening of the Medical Equipment Recycling Program’s new facility in New Castle, Pennsylvania! We are welcoming the public for walk-throughs, UPMC’s mobile screening health truck, refreshments, giveaways and a wheelchair wash.*
The Medical Equipment Recycling Program’s third location will serve residents in and around Lawrence County and is located on the ground floor of the UPMC Jameson Professional Building located at 1211 Wilmington Avenue, New Castle, PA 16105. Hours will be from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The Foundation thanks the organizations and donors who helped make this location possible.
The New Castle MERP location joins two existing MERP facilities in Farrell and in Greenville. The program loans durable medical equipment, at no cost, to area residents in need of devices to help them stay safe, healthy and independent. MERP accepts donations of new or like-new medical devices, as well as financial donations to help provide the program to the community.
