Children’s Advocacy Center
The Vision of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Lawrence County is to strengthen our community to end child abuse.
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Lawrence County is part of the UPMC Jameson hospital system and provides comprehensive child and family services throughout the county. The CAC’s primary objective is to stop child abuse in Lawrence County through a combination of intervention, prevention, education and community outreach. Staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of child and family health specialists, the CAC provides vital services towards helping prevent the abuse or neglect of children. The CAC is a nonprofit served by a board of directors made up of community members, and all children who qualify for and need services receive them for free.
