The UPMC Horizon Foundation is proud to thank everyone who participated or supported the 3rd Annual Dr. Edgardo Lob Memorial Cancer Care Fund T-Shirt Fundraiser. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the team at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Centers at UPMC Horizon, the UPMC Horizon and UPMC Jameson hospital systems, and our community throughout Mercer and Lawrence Counties, the Fund raised well over $5,000 to support cancer patients receiving treatment!
The success of this year’s fundraiser is owed to the donors and supporters who participated, as well as the team of volunteers that helped coordinate the fundraiser. Particular thanks are due to Kim See, Kelly Haux, and the hardworking employees and community members that serve on the Fund’s Committee.
The Foundation was excited to be on hand with Fund volunteers for a check presentation celebrating a contribution of $5,247.11 to the Fund. Joining Foundation Director Adam Nowland were (from left) Amy Hines, Kelly Sorg, Kim See, Kara Turlij, Jeri Saal, Erin Scheib, Cheryl Graham, Timothy Smock, Kim McBriar, Sharon Davis, and Renata Lob. A custom shirt was presented to Renata Lob in honor of a new granddaughter, Camila Marie Lob.
The Dr. Edgardo Lob Memorial Cancer Care Fund, honoring Dr. Lob’s long-time career helping patients battle cancer and the care and compassion he provided those he served, provides support for patients at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Centers at UPMC Horizon.
