Scholarships at the UPMC Horizon Community Health Foundation and the UPMC Jameson Health Care Foundation provide financial support for those working in or studying healthcare across a variety of programs in Mercer and Lawrence Counties.

This scholarship provides support for students pursuing a degree in nursing at the UPMC Jameson School of Nursing in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
The Kirk L. Works, M.D. Memorial Scholarship Fund
Created in honor of Dr. Works, this scholarship provides support for graduates of certain Mercer County, Pennsylvania high schools who are pursuing higher education in a health-care related field.
Dr. Edgardo Lob Memorial Cancer Care Fund Scholarship
This scholarship honors the legacy of Dr. Edgardo Lob and supports students in Mercer County who are pursuing higher education in health care fields.
The UPMC Horizon Medical Staff Scholarship
This scholarship provides financial support for medical students living near or working at UPMC Horizon and UPMC Jameson.
