The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of Lawrence County is seeking community partners and local organizations to sponsor the 2026 Steppin’ Up for Kids event on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026.
About the Event
Each April, the CAC hosts Steppin’ Up for Kids in recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The event raises awareness about preventing and responding to child abuse while providing a family-friendly evening filled with education, entertainment, and community connection.
The 2025 event drew several hundred attendees to the Riverwalk and featured speakers, proclamations from community leaders, activities for families, giveaways, and food, all made possible by generous sponsors and partners.
